Multimedia Journalist

Position Overview

WTAJ-TV is seeking a Multimedia Journalist to join their news team in DuBois. This role requires a strong communicator who can produce, report, shoot, write, voice, edit, and distribute content across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Presents reports for WTAJ, WTAJ.com, and WTAJ+
• Reports news quickly and accurately, ensuring content meets journalistic standards
• Gathers information through research, interviews, and attending various events
• Pitches relevant stories to news managers and producers
• Performs special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Superior on-air presence
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or a related field, or equivalent work experience
