Multilingual Caregiver

Senior Helpers of Central Southwest Houston

We are seeking compassionate multilingual caregivers to help seniors feel comfortable, understood, and connected by receiving care in the language they know best.

About the role

Join our team if you have experience working in assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, senior living facilities, nursing homes, home care or healthcare. We welcome caregivers who speak: Spanish, Urdu, Hindi, Gujarati, Arabic, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bengali, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Farsi, Korean, Tagalog, and any additional language is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Communicate with seniors in their preferred language to reduce anxiety and build trust
• Provide compassionate and personalized care
• Assist with personal care tasks as needed
• Support seniors with daily activities
• Work closely with clients' families to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

• No CNA certification required
• Professional care-giving experience or passion for helping seniors
• Comfortable assisting with personal care
• Able to communicate in English and at least one additional language
• Willing to learn new skills to best assist our clients

• Experienced in caregiving (professional experience preferred)

We serve seniors throughout Southwest Houston, including Mission Bend, Alief, Sharpstown, Braeburn, Brays Oaks, Missouri City, and surrounding communities.
