Description
The Multifamily Construction Project Manager will:
- Manage multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through final completion
- Establish and maintain relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and financial forecasts
- Administer contracts, subcontracts, and procurement activities
- Coincordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to financial objectives
- Track project progress and communicate updates to key stakeholders
- Support value engineering and cost-control initiatives
- Ensure compliance with permitting, inspections, and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with field teams to maintain project schedules and quality standards
- Lead project meetings and resolve project challenges proactively
- Manage project closeout, turnover documentation, and warranty activities
- Oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) efforts throughout construction
Profile
The successful Multifamily Construction Project Manager will have:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within the construction industry
- Experience managing multifamily, residential, or mixed-use construction projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and project controls
- Experience with project management and construction software
- Knowledge of construction methods, safety practices, and building regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage projects through completion while maintaining client satisfaction
