Multi‑Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

A multi-cloud security engineer is needed to oversee the security of various cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with multiple cloud platforms and will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce security policies across all cloud environments
• Monitor and respond to security incidents in real time
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of cloud operations
• Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and implement mitigation strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• CISSP certification preferred
• Experience with security automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
• Understanding of network architecture and principles

Skills

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Experience with security monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
