Multi-trade Operative
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)
About the role
We’re seeking an adaptable and enthusiastic multi-trade operative to join our Repairs team, focusing on carrying out repairs in customers’ homes. This role ensures issues are resolved quickly, effectively, and to the highest standard, so our customers can feel safe and comfortable where they live. You’ll be part of Bromford Flagship LiveWest (BFL), a place-based affordable housing provider supporting almost 300,000 customers across the southwest, central, and east of England. As the UK’s largest provider of new affordable homes, delivering over 3,000 each year, we play a vital role in tackling the growing demand for safe, affordable housing and building a better future for our communities.
Responsibilities
- Perform multi-skilled repairs in customers’ homes, including carpentry, plumbing, and plastering.
- Deliver high-quality work with a focus on customer service and safety.
- Maintain a proactive, self-motivated approach while collaborating with the team.
Requirements
- Expertise in carpentry, plumbing, and plastering.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Basic DBS Check (arranged by us).
- Flexibility with working hours and travel.
- Original certificates for any relevant qualifications (if applicable).
