About the role

The Multi Skilled Technician is an experienced health care professional who provides both patient care and administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and administrative support.
• Work shifts from 7p-7a, Nights, 36 hours per week, Full-Time.

Requirements

• One of the following licenses/licenses must be maintained active during employment:
  • Florida licensure as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Paramedic, or a military Hospital Corpsman, Combat Medic Specialist, or Aerospace Medical Service Specialist;
  • National licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT);
• Nursing students who are eligible for CNA exam are required to:
  • Currently be enrolled in an accredited school of Nursing (RN/LPN);
  • Have completed the first semester of clinical for ASN/BSN degree or completion of first trimester for LPN;
  • Cannot be currently licensed in the U.S. as a RN or LPN;

• Complete Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Crisis Intervention class within six (6) months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Able to assess, interact, communicate, and care for specific patient population served by the department.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

Benefits

Employees hired without the above licensure and/or by years of experience only prior to 11/11/19, are grandfathered in and will have the option of obtaining the stipulated licensure.
