Multi-Skilled Technician - Alamo, TN

About the role

As a CBRE Multi-skilled Technician, you will perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on a mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and carry out repairs.
• Aid in the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Manage and track the completion of assigned tasks using available systems.
• Ensure all building systems operate efficiently by supporting energy management.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Report violations to management.
• Solve straightforward problems using existing procedures while receiving close supervision and guidance.

Requirements

• A high school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education may be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Have communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Show strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
