About the role
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and carry out repairs.
- Aid in the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
- Manage and track the completion of assigned tasks using available systems.
- Ensure all building systems operate efficiently by supporting energy management.
- Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Report violations to management.
- Solve straightforward problems using existing procedures while having limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
What You’ll Need
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- A High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
- A combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Have communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Show strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
