You'll provide essential assistance and comfort to patients, ensuring they receive the best possible experience during their healthcare journey. Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, turning, feeding assistance).
• Provide basic patient care and help maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Answer call bells at the station and in patient rooms.
• Perform clerical/HUC duties such as answering phones, entering orders, and general administrative support when not assisting with ADLs.
• Assume other duties as assigned, supported by training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Nursing Assistant Course (preferred).
• Current BLS for health care providers.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification within 6 months of hire.

Skills

• Prior basic experience performing clerical or customer service duties, with HUC training/experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Proficient in MS Windows‑based applications (primarily MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
• Ability to use computer‑driven patient care equipment.
• Bilingual (fluent in English/Spanish) preferred.
• Maintain and demonstrate appropriate skills and competencies associated with Certified Nursing Assistant and HUC duties.
• Physical ability to assist with patient transfers to and from the unit.
