Multi-skilled Flooring Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated professional Multi-skilled Flooring Installers for Ace Handyman Services Lakeland. This is a W2 position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work independently. We provide homes and businesses with quality craftsmanship for repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects.

About the Role

You will work out of your home, choosing either a full-time or part-time schedule. You will travel to job sites in Lakeland and nearby areas using your own truck or van (or company vehicle).

Responsibilities

• Install flooring materials such as hardwood, tile, and vinyl
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, and other trades as needed
• Provide excellent customer service and interact positively with clients and colleagues
• Estimate projects and document work
• Pass a background check

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and professional appearance/demeanor
• Experience as a Flooring Installer
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong documentation and invoicing skills
• Ability to pass a background check

Qualifications

• Successful track record as a Flooring Installer
• Own standard set of tools for all trades
• Good overall knowledge of trades including Tiling, Carpentry, Painting, Drywalling, and light Plumbing and Electrical
• Excellent customer service skills, including communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to interact positively with a wide variety of clients and colleagues
