About the Role
We are currently seeking highly motivated professional Craftsmen, Craftswomen, and Carpenters with skills in multiple trades. This is a W2 position offering flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to work from home.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality craftsmanship and customer service for repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects
- Travel to job sites in Asheville and nearby areas using your own truck or van
- Work out of your home on your choice of a full-time or part-time basis
- Find and schedule jobs for you
Requirements
- Strong work ethic
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Good overall knowledge of multiple trades including Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, Drywalling, and light Plumbing and Electrical
- Excellent customer service skills including communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to interact positively with a wide variety of clients, fellow employees, management, and office personnel
- Successful prior track record as a Carpenter/Craftsperson
- Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing
- Own standard set of tools to perform most, if not all, of the above trades
- Own truck or van
- Current and valid driver’s license
- Residence within 30 miles of the city of Asheville
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong documentation and invoicing skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
