Job Summary

The Multi-Modality Technician performs MRI procedures, mammographic procedures, CT examinations, Ultrasound examinations, X-ray examinations, according to protocol, used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Required
• Registered Vascular Technician
• High School Graduate / GED

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary
• Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary
• Release the patient with proper post-procedure instructions
• Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines
