About the Role
A Diagnostic Imaging Technologist specializing in X-ray and CT modalities, providing high-quality, patient-centered imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Explain procedures to patients, verify information, and prepare patients appropriately.
- Operate X-ray and CT equipment adhering to safety protocols; produce high-quality images for diagnosis.
- Maintain proficiency with imaging equipment and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- Follow organizational policies, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging and CT; experience in emergency, pediatric, and orthopedic exams preferred.
- Registration with ARRT (R and C) and SCRQSA.
- Current BLS certification.
Skills
- Ability to produce high-quality images independently and work effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of age-specific imaging criteria and safety standards.
