About the role
The Multi-Modality Technologist I provides diagnostic imaging in multiple specialties in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Responsibilities
- Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
- Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
- Takes on call shift responsibilities as required by the department.
- Charges appropriately for all supplies used for procedure(s).
- Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s) taking appropriate action to resolve image quality issues.
- Enters, transmits and reports scan results.
- Prepares equipment and supplies.
- Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
- Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
- Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
- Aids in the preparation and administration of contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
- Maintains continuous monitoring of patient condition and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.

- Accredited Program: Imaging (Required)
- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD)
- BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA)
- BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC)
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
Qualifications
- One (1) year of technologist experience in a hospital setting.

Education and Certification Requirements
- Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in either of the following within one (1) year of hire date: Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI).
