About the role
The Radiologic Technologist at Moody Outpatient Center performs routine to complex imaging in multiple modalities within the Breast Center.
Responsibilities
- Performs imaging procedures across locations, ensuring quality and proper documentation.
- Evaluates patient history and adheres to quality control standards.
- Communicates effectively with patients and staff.
- Provides training to students.
- Participates in performance improvement activities.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited imaging program in fields such as MRI, radiography, or sonography.
- At least one year of imaging experience per certified modality.
- Holds MRT certification from Texas or equivalent and credentialing from ARRT or RDMS.
- Holds two or more subspecialty certifications, including breast sonography, MRI, mammography, radiography, or sonography.
- Holds current BLS CPR certification from recognized agencies.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational, communication, advanced computer, patient interaction, and teamwork skills.
