About the role

The Multi-modality position applies in all locations where Imaging Services are provided: University Hospital, East Hospital, The James Cancer Hospital and OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations.

The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist will be required to perform DR plain film x-ray and two or all of the following modalities: MR, ULS, CT, CI, VI. Technologists will be required to provide patient education and quality assessment activities for the Imaging Division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager and/or Associate Director. This position may include the same activities at any of our Imaging Sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform DR plain film x-ray examinations.
• Perform two or more of the following advanced modalities: MR, ULS, CT, CI, VI.
• Provide patient education related to imaging procedures.
• Conduct quality assessment activities for the Imaging Division.
• Work under the direction of the Imaging Manager and/or Associate Director.

Requirements

• Current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required.
• Current Radiography ODH licensure required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in at least two advanced modalities (ULS, CT, MR, CI, VI) or current advanced certification in those modalities.
