Key Duties & Responsibilities Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Manager to join our team in Courtland, AL! This position will be leading team members of a strong multi-disciplined team of the Electronic Assembly and Test Facility (EATF) as the Building Manager. Responsibilities include: building and leading a highly effective team to meet or exceed quality, cost, schedule, technical objectives, improvement activities, and mid-range strategy. Duties include safety, performance, team building, developing, and maintaining customer interfaces. Position will require frequent communications with Lockheed Martin Executive and Senior Leadership, internal support organizations and Customers. The leader selected for this position must possess leadership competencies to guide diverse workforce and influence personnel through high operational tempos in support of upcoming program production activities. You will utilize your skills in leadership, communication, and presentation skills by communicating with employees, managers, subcontractors, and customers to build and maintain a sustainable working relationship. Desired Skills Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, (Management, Production Operations Management, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience/combined education Willingness/ability to present to high level customers and LM executives Proficient with SAP (Qnotes, Routing, Bills of Material) and VE-CAMS/APRISO Proficient with Lockheed Martin Space Systems tools (EPDM, PMP Database, IDS etc.) Defect trending experience Proficient with process-oriented with a strategic vision and the ability to lead others Prior experience managing in a large team environment Financial experience in estimating and planning cost account milestones Experience directly related to space flight hardware production Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with Customers, Engineering, Material and Quality Team Technical experience in the equipment and processes within a harness, electricals / electronics or mechanical assembly and test factory Must demonstrate the ability to understand the numbers and metrics Results driven with the ability to Project Manage and a good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, PMT Knowledge or experience working in a manufacturing environment with an emphasis on DCMA, Quality, Process Improvement and Safety Technical writing, oral and written communication skills.
