About the role
Partner with senior department members to create processes and drive Wealth Planning Services for Ultra-High-Net-Worth/Multi-Family-Office clients (Net Worth/Liquid Assets > $500MM+, Annual Revenue > $1MM). Serve as a subject-matter expert, build relationships with Lead Advisors, and support the firm’s value propositions for complex wealth advisory needs.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate all client-service responsibilities for Ultra-High-Net-Worth/Multi-Family-Office clients.
- Support the client-service team in executing Wealth Planning for Ultra-High-Net-Worth/Multi-Family-Office and other complex clients, including preparation of materials and coordination of meetings.
- Champion, manage, evaluate, and innovate the Wealth Planning technology stack to improve efficiencies and solutions for Ultra-High-Net-Worth/Multi-Family-Office clients.
- Support prospecting and onboarding of Ultra-High-Net-Worth/Multi-Family-Office and other complex clients through research, data management, and client-information systems.
- Manage the internal process for prospective Ultra-High-Net-Worth/Multi-Family-Office clients, including gathering documentation and following up on action items.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of work for assigned Ultra-High-Net-Worth/Multi-Family-Office and other complex client relationships.
- Run the internal GAP (Gather, Analyze, Present) process for prospective Ultra-High-Net-Worth/Multi-Family-Office clients to prepare the closing team and oversee related deliverables.
- Develop content, communication, and training materials on Wealth Planning offerings and updates for Waldron team members.
- Support Wealth Planning team compliance, workflow, and efficiency by updating workflow documents, monitoring deadlines, and reporting progress to management.
- Assist the Director of Wealth Planning in executing strategic initiatives and projects aligned with client and firm goals.
- Identify and recommend improvements in current services and vendors by gathering feedback, tracking usage data, and compiling reports on service efficiencies.
- Act as a point of contact for Wealth Planning inquiries, redirecting complex questions to senior team members or subject-matter experts as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
- Minimum of five years of wealth management and investment-related experience (seven years preferred).
- Minimum of three years of progressive experience working with Family Office and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) client families ($50MM+ in investable assets; five years preferred).
- Passed CFP®, CFA, CPA, JD, or another approved advanced credential.
- Investment Adviser Representative registration eligibility required within three months of start date (e.g., CFP®, ChFC, PFS, CFA, CIC, Series 65, or Series 66).
