About the Role
You will step into a pivotal leadership role as a hands-on field authority driving large-scale multi-family projects to successful completion. This position empowers you to train and motivate crews while overseeing fine-tune quality control on ever-changing jobsites. You will serve as the primary on-site connection between contractors and corporate leadership, ensuring high production standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and motivate a dedicated team of journeymen and apprentices on site.
- Lead hands-on electrical installations while maintaining absolute compliance with current electrical codes.
- Interpret and cross-reference complex blueprints to manage field changes in dynamic environments.
- Conduct rigorous daily inspections to enforce company installation processes and quality standards.
- Cook up project schedules, labor requirements, and material needs directly with the Office.
- Submit detailed daily updates and subcontractor timecards accurately to streamline corporate job costing, scheduling needs, and communication.
- Resolve technical field obstacles quickly and communicate progress updates directly to the office.
Requirements
- Proven track record managing electrical crews specifically on large-scale multi-family build sites.
- Advanced ability to read, interpret, cross-reference, and redline electrical architectural blueprints.
- Strong leadership capacity to evaluate crew strengths and hold teams accountable to deadlines.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of working hours to assigned regional construction locations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for delivering real-time corporate status updates.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 5 years of related electrical field experience.
- Bilingual Active Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Maryland or the State of Pennsylvania.
- Experience coordinating workflows across trades like plumbing and HVAC to streamline building systems.
- Documented experience managing and approving hourly subcontractor time tracking sheets.
