Multi-faceted "Handyman" Carpenter

Agape is a family-owned, well-established Design and Build company with offices in Kirkwood and Chesterfield. We're seeking a talented, multi-faceted carpenter—someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and tackling new challenges every day. In this role, you'll assist area homeowners with a variety of projects, ensuring high-quality results in a fun and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Trim work, including base trim and crown molding, as well as miscellaneous cabinet trim
• Minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks
• Miscellaneous siding, soffit, and fascia work
• Window replacements and bending of aluminum trim
• Deck repairs and maintenance
• Minor tile, flooring, and drywall repairs; painting touch-ups

Requirements

• Residential carpentry experience with knowledge of framing and finish work
• Able to assess situations, generate solutions, and execute minor repairs in mechanical, plumbing, electrical, flooring, drywall, painting, etc. (think outside the box)
• Able to complete drywall repairs, including mudding, taping, and sanding to a high-quality finish
• Able to work independently
• Own well-maintained hand tools
• Drive a truck or van
• Clean background check and valid driver’s license
• Excellent time management skills and comfortable managing your schedule
