About the Role
Valiant Solutions is seeking a Top Secret SCI Cleared Multi-Discipline Engineer to join our rapidly growing and innovative cybersecurity team! This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Multi-Discipline Engineer supporting an Intelligence Community Customer.
Responsibilities
- Leads and facilitates integration efforts to include upgrading and managing virtual computer systems.
- Generates and evaluates alternative solution concepts and architectures.
- Produces ICRs, configuration documentation, and customer presentations.
- Manages VMWare ESXi virtualized platform running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 operating system.
- Manages NetApp (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN).
- Produces and briefs technical solution presentations for customer briefings.
- Maintains compliance of Enterprise tools including HBSS, Carbon Black, ArcSight, and ACAS.
- Collaborates with ISSE to ensure system accreditation is sustained.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret SCI Cleared
- Bachelor of Science degree plus 5 years of relevant experience; Associate degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, or 9 years of equivalent military and/or civilian experience in lieu of a degree
- IAT II or higher certification (i.e., Security+, CISSP)
- Red Hat Enterprise Linus (RHEL 7 preferred)
- VMware - vSphere and vCenter
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience
- Ability to produce detailed technical documentation
- Broad understanding of network principles and protocols
- Comprehensive understanding of security appliances and protocols
- Capable of working on a team under pressure to meet strict schedule requirements
Desired Skills
- Understanding of Postgres and Mongo database principles and concepts
- Experience with cross-domain solutions, specifically High Speed Guards (HSGs)
- Familiarity with shell scripting and perl scripting
- Knowledge of application protocol LDAP
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
