Multi Cloud Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a mid-level to senior Cloud Engineer with an active TS/SCI Full Scope Poly clearance for a position in Chantilly, VA. This role involves working with cloud-based networks under very high data security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based networks with stringent security requirements.
• Configure and manage AWS cloud services, including API configurations.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Python, C++, Perl, and shell scripting for Linux and Windows.
• Perform system administration tasks such as Linux RHEL patching, server installs, firmware upgrades, and testing between firmware/patch levels.
• Engage in cloud engineering tasks, including familiarity with medialive, automating DynamoDB table updates, troubleshooting within the cloud platform, and providing input on troubleshooting toolsets.
• Work with operating systems such as Linux and Android.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Full Scope Poly clearance.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of cloud-based networks with very high data security requirements.
• Demonstrated experience with AWS and cloud services, including API configurations.
• Experience with programming languages including Python, Linux, C++, and Windows shell.
• Experience with operating systems such as Linux and Android.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, C++, and Perl.
• Experience with system administration, including Linux RHEL, patching, server installs, firmware upgrades, and testing between firmware/patch levels.
• Experience with cloud engineering tasks.

Optional Skills

• Experience with analog and digital communications involving Satellite, terrestrial TV, AM, and FM radio.
• Experience with video codecs and streaming technologies.
• Experience with video encoding equipment and processes.
• Experience with specific broadcast systems, such as specialized FM radio systems and scalable portable remote devices for TV and radio signals.
• Experience with IP network routing and switching.
• Experience performing installations, configuration, and operations of broadcast equipment.
