Multi-Axis Machine Operator & Programmer

Position Summary

We are seeking a Multi-Axis Machine Operator & Programmer to support precision fabrication of aerospace and defense components. DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

- Experience with SURFCAM CAM software - Experience operating Mazak and/or Haas CNC machining centers - Experience with 5-axis machining operations - CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar) - Familiarity with aerospace or defense manufacturing environments - Experience with metrology equipment (CMM, digital gauging)

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

- Demonstrated experience operating and programming multi-axis CNC machining centers (3-axis minimum; 4/5-axis preferred) - Ability to develop and optimize CNC programs from engineering drawings and models - Proficiency in setup, tooling selection, fixturing, and work-holding for complex parts - Experience machining aluminum, steel, and other aerospace-grade alloys to tight tolerances - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T - Previous experience with hand and power tools - High School graduate or equivalent; technical/vocational training or associate degree preferred - Ability to stand for long periods working in a fast-paced environment - Must be able to lift 50lbs often and work standing up for a full 8-hour shift
