Mulligan Security, the tri-state’s leading private security organization, has immediate job opportunities for Law Enforcement Officers at Class “A” commercial properties located across New York York City. Full-time positions require flexibility to work different shifts as well as weekends based on operational needs.

About the role

The Law Enforcement Officer maintains a safe and secure environment for clients and employees by detecting suspicious activity, monitoring the premises, and reporting all incidents in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct roll call and ensure all officers are present, in proper uniform, and aware of post orders and current events
• Ensure security officers are knowledgeable on recent incidents and provide guidance on established protocols
• Inspect officers on post and sign their memo books during the tour
• Respond to all incidents and conduct preliminary investigations
• Coordinate emergency resources and provide direction and updates to the 24-hour Joint Security Operations Center (JSOC)
• Prepare detailed Incident Reports
• Act as the point of contact for NYPD and FDNY upon their arrival on campus
• Direct personnel changes during the shift and adjust posts as necessary
• Oversee deployment of officers assigned to special events to ensure a safe environment
• Assist the Director of Security with developing, coordinating, managing, and communicating the security plan
• Respond to emergencies, fire alarms, criminal events, medical issues, and newsworthy incidents; provide direction to staff and coordinate emergency services via the JSOC

Requirements

• Retired law enforcement or military background is required
• Must be a NYS Licensed Armed Security Guard and possess an HR-218 Certification
