Muliskilled Engineer - Days - Monday - Friday

About the role

We have an exciting vacancy for a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Days) based in Bedford. You will work collaboratively with others to maintain and achieve stakeholder satisfaction, quality standards, and high levels of operational performance on all site machinery and plant.

Responsibilities

• Fault diagnosis and repair of a wide variety of electrical and mechanical systems, including:
  • Pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, valves, ovens, mixers, pressure systems, refrigeration units
• Collaboration with production and technical teams to resolve engineering issues in a controlled, logical, and professional manner
• Methodical diagnosis of machine and system faults on production equipment

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ multi-skilled engineering maintenance experience, ideally gained within FMCG or high-speed/volume production environments
• Proven experience with mechanical, electrical, PLCs, and an understanding of control systems
• Formal training in CI/LEAN techniques would be advantageous
