Responsibilities
- Shape enterprise integration strategies that support reliable data movement across cloud services, internal platforms, and third-party applications, with a strong focus on event-driven architecture using technologies such as Kafka.
- Arcitect and deliver integration solutions through APIs, messaging frameworks, file-based exchanges, and database connectivity methods to meet complex business and system requirements.
- Provide technical leadership for the design and optimization of solutions built on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and long-term value.
- Define and enforce integration governance, including security controls, architectural standards, and best practices for platform usage and solution delivery.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and technical teams to convert functional needs into practical, high-quality integration designs.
- Guide integration platform transition activities, including cloud environment changes such as Azure to Anypoint Cloud 2.0, while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.
- Track system health and improve solution performance by leveraging monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and MuleSoft platform capabilities.
- Lead integration architecture efforts for manufacturing systems and related business applications, ensuring dependable interoperability across operational environments.
- Produce and maintain clear architectural documentation, including interface mappings, system flow diagrams, and integration design artifacts.
- Advise teams during production issues and reliability events by providing architectural support, root cause insight, and recommendations for service improvement.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing integration architectures using MuleSoft, with strong knowledge of the Anypoint Platform and MuleSoft development practices.
- Solid understanding of service-oriented architecture, microservices design patterns, and distributed integration principles.
- Proven hands-on experience with event-driven integration models and streaming technologies, including Apache Kafka.
- Proficiency with Azure-based integration and monitoring tools, along with familiarity with API gateways and identity and access management concepts.
- Experience connecting enterprise applications across business, operational, and financial platforms in complex environments.
- Strong background in B2B integration approaches and secure data exchange methods across multiple systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, explain architectural decisions, and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in software engineering, IT consulting, or similar roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MuleSoft, Java, and other relevant programming languages.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing industry standards and best practices.
