MuleSoft Developer

About the role

JTSi (Johnson Technology Systems, Inc.) is a federal government consulting firm providing technical services to the DoD, civilian agencies, and clients. The MuleSoft Developer role is remote/hybrid, with preference for candidates local to Herndon, VA (onsite 4 days per week if local).

Responsibilities

• Develop secure MuleSoft API services connecting ServiceNow financial workflows with cloud-based data services and downstream enterprise components.
• Implement API contracts, transformations, validation, authorization, error handling, automated testing, and operational monitoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands‑on MuleSoft development experience.
• MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
• Strong RAML/OpenAPI, DataWeave, REST, JSON/XML, and OAuth skills.
• Experience with MUnit, API lifecycle management, governance, and CI/CD.
• Experience integrating SaaS applications with cloud data services.
• Strong interface‑documentation and troubleshooting skills.
• ServiceNow, AWS, or DynamoDB integration experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

Salary range: $137,000 – $142,000.

Schedule

Remote/hybrid; local to Herndon, VA preferred. If local to Herndon, the resource must be onsite 4 days per week.
