MTS Tester

About the role

This role supports the development, integration, testing, and validation of hardware and software solutions used in advanced in-flight entertainment systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans, test cases, test scripts, and validation procedures
• Document test results, defects, and troubleshooting activities
• Analyze test results, identify software or hardware issues, and support root-cause analysis
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test procedures, and test reports
• Support regression testing, system validation, and software release testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure system functionality

Requirements

• 1-3+ years of experience in software testing, system testing, hardware testing, or systems integration
• Working knowledge of Linux or Unix operating systems, including basic command-line functionality
• Experience troubleshooting embedded systems, avionics systems, or in-flight entertainment (IFE) products
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Ability to support occasional overtime and weekend testing activities as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hardware and software integration testing in a lab or test-rack environment
• Familiarity with defect tracking and bug management tools
• Experience working in a cross-functional engineering environment
