What You Will Do
- Perform routine tasks related to preventive and corrective maintenance, and servicing of machinery and equipment.
- Assist higher level technicians in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical services as required.
- Maintain fluid levels on machinery, change filters as needed, document and analyze fluid usage, operate and maintain fluids filtration equipment.
- Proactively perform basic equipment maintenance such as turnarounds, clean robot booths, remove swarf build up in machines, remove grinding grit and fragments from machines, empty and clean oil skimmers, clean and service parts washers, remove and replace de-ionized water bottles.
- Perform administrative maintenance tasks and associated paperwork, monitor fluids, filters, and consumable inventories.
- Document work in SAP maintenance management suite (CMMS) and properly utilize the shop floor Andon system.
- Operate PIVs as required and maintain inspection records and follow safe work practices and keep up to date on EH&S/OSHA training requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Lift up, push, pull, bend, squat, climb, stand, walk, and twist hands, work in a confined space and maintain a forklift license
Qualifications You Must Have
- High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED)
- Post-secondary education in maintenance, and/or 2-4 years of equivalent maintenance experience
- Basic mechanical and electrical skill with a desire to pursue a career in the skilled trades field
- Familiar with OSHA and general safety practices
Qualifications We Prefer
- Technical aptitude in the following fields: basic mechanics, rigging, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum systems, electrical, automation, and PLC/CNCs
- Capable of safely working on electrical systems up to 480V (Electrical Safe Work Practices), instrumentation and control systems, and mechanical systems
- MIG/TIG Welding, fabrication, basic machining
- Technical certifications or an associate’s degree in a maintenance related field
