About the role
As a CBRE Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for performing a variety of basic custodial, building, and other maintenance duties. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do
- Operate a Forklift and PIT Equipment
- Develop skills to perform basic preventative and reactive maintenance
- Follow a set procedure in the performance of repetitive tasks or job activities
- Complete paperwork for property damage, equipment malfunctions, and unusual activities
- Assist with monitoring the supply, equipment usage, and record inventory needs
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion
- Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance
Requirements
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
- High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
