MSIM - CLO Tranche PM/Trader, Fixed Income - Vice President/Executive Director

Job Summary

Leadership role acting as the primary day-to-day portfolio manager for MSEV’s $1.3+ billion CLO tranche investing business, reporting to the Co-Heads of CLO Management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, trade, and evaluate CLO tranches (AAA through equity) in the primary and secondary markets.
• Perform structural and collateral analysis, including tranche cash flow dynamics and stress scenarios.
• Provide thought leadership on achieving growth and operational efficiencies in the CLO tranche business.
• Represent MSEV’s CLO business with internal and external counterparties, including attending industry conferences and manager roadshows.
• Conduct critical internal and external compliance tasks, such as formal investment write-ups and AUP reporting, in collaboration with other members of the MSEV CLO team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience at either an existing CLO tranche manager or sell-side CLO role.
• Prior experience analyzing CLO structures and legal documents.
• Strong communications and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical skills and a desire to build internal investment monitoring capabilities.
• Willingness to work in an entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA or CFA designation preferred.

Pay

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $125,000 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
