About the role
We are seeking a dedicated educator to join a Michigan K-12 school community. This role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction and supporting student success in alignment with state and district goals.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
- Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to foster a positive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
- Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school improvement initiatives.
- Uphold school policies, procedures, and Michigan educational standards.
Requirements
- Valid Michigan teaching certification or eligibility for alternative certification through an approved program.
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (required); advanced degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students, preferably in the assigned subject area or grade level.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching practices.
