About the role
- Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Fabric enterprise environments
- Administer Fabric capacities, workspaces, OneLake, and platform configurations
- Establish platform standards, governance frameworks, and operational procedures
- Build reusable deployment frameworks for Fabric workloads
- Manage platform scalability, performance optimization, and capacity planning
- Implement high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery capabilities
- Support enterprise data and analytics platform modernization initiatives
- Design and implement enterprise DevSecOps frameworks for Microsoft Fabric
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Fabric, Power BI, and Azure workloads
- Automate environment provisioning, deployments, monitoring, and governance activities
- Integrate security controls throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and configuration management practices
- Establish automated testing and deployment validation processes
- Drive shift-left security and policy-as-code adoption
- Manage OneLake, Fabric Data Factory, Fabric Lakehouse, Fabric Data Warehouse, Fabric Data Engineering, Fabric Real-Time Analytics, Fabric Notebooks, Fabric Data Science, and Fabric Power BI
- Monitor capacity utilization and workload performance
- Optimize platform resource consumption and costs
- Manage release processes across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments
- Implement backup, recovery, and business continuity procedures
- Implement enterprise security controls and governance frameworks
- Configure role-based access controls (RBAC) and least-privilege access models
- Integrate Microsoft Entra ID with Fabric and Azure services
- Implement secrets management and credential rotation policies
- Support regulatory compliance and audit requirements
- Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and remediation activities
- Implement data protection, encryption, and monitoring solutions
- Design and support Azure-based platform infrastructure
- Implement cloud-native services supporting Fabric workloads
- Manage networking, security boundaries, and private connectivity
- Support multi-environment deployment strategies
- Enable platform observability and operational excellence
- Establish end-to-end platform monitoring and alerting
- Implement logging, tracing, and operational dashboards
- Track platform health, reliability, SLA, and performance KPIs
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts
- Drive platform reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with Data Engineers, Architects, Security Teams, and Business Stakeholders
- Define engineering standards, deployment frameworks, and governance controls
- Mentor platform engineers and DevOps team members
- Lead platform reviews, security reviews, and operational readiness assessments
Pay
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $125,000 - $135,000. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The actual compensation offered may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, education, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, market considerations, and internal pay equity. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
