Responsibilities
- Establishment of production schedules based on a forecast of major equipment or groups of select items.
- Schedules reflected into MRP module as input and inventory replenishment orders approved as output.
- Maintains major equipment records.
- Publishes shop related reports.
- Monitor activity of critical inventory items.
Requirements
- Requires an associate’s degree in business or completed course in Production and Inventory Control or equivalent and/or college or technical school;
- or related experience and/or training;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 - 3 years shop experience,
- 1 - 2 years PC planner experience,
- and 1 - 2 years scheduling experience required.
- Experience with Lotus or equal type spreadsheets necessary.
Computer Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
- Internet software and E-mail.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Inputs and reviews MRP runs.
- Reviews daily shortages - takes action.
- Prepares reports on critical items.
- Adheres to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.
