About the role
Perform MRI exams on patients of all ages, ensuring safety, patient comfort, and quality of imaging.
Responsibilities
- Review patient data and contraindications before procedures
- Execute MRI protocols and conduct daily quality assurance
- Educate patients about procedures and safety
- Monitor equipment functionality and report issues
- Maintain equipment uptime and support team members and students
- Participate in professional development activities
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARMRIT or ARRT certification; MRI certification within one year of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience in radiologic or imaging modalities
Physical and Safety Requirements
- Standing, walking, lifting, and equipment manipulation
- Use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety protocols
Schedule
Weekend night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am.
