About the Role
This position involves providing MRI imaging services across various healthcare facilities, maintaining technical proficiency, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI exams following departmental protocols and quality standards.
- Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and education.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively, adhering to MRI safety guidelines.
- Assist and instruct students and colleagues in procedures and equipment use.
- Maintain accurate records, follow infection control protocols, and manage equipment troubleshooting and quality control.
Requirements
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-2 years of MRI technologist experience in trauma hospital settings.
- Knowledge of anatomy, image evaluation, equipment operation, contrast protocols, and emergency response.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and task prioritization skills.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and assist patients and equipment.
Schedule
Full-time position with variable shifts, not benefit-eligible. May require participation in on-call rotations.
Location
Based in St. George, Utah, with travel across multiple healthcare facilities. Housing reimbursement possible for remote assignments.
