About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MRI Tech responsible for interpreting physician instructions, preparing patients, and operating MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment, including Siemens 3T and 1.5 Tesla machines
- Perform general MRI, breast, prostate, and cardiac procedures
- Interpret scanning instructions and position patients appropriately
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Utilize Epic for documentation and workflow management
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification with MRI advanced level and ARRT-M certification
- State licensure in radiologic technology
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ MRI experience with diverse procedures
- BLS certification
- Proficiency with Epic and high-end MRI testing
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including shared call and weekend rotations
- COVID vaccination is required
