MRI Technologist – Travel Job
About the role
Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Tech to join their team. The ideal candidate will accurately interpret physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.
Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret physician’s scanning instructions
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures
- Expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images
- Work in an acute care hospital environment, preferably Level III trauma or similar settings
Requirements
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (MR credential preferred)
- Licensure valid for MRI technologists in WI
- 2+ years' experience as an MRI Technologist, including neuro, spine, tumor workups, cord compression, cardiac imaging, breast, enterography, abdominal, whole body, ortho, and spectroscopy cases
- BLS certification required
- IV starts required
- Epic electronic medical record experience required
- Will not accept first-time travelers
- Candidates must have prior travel or hospital MRI experience
Preferred
- Strong experience across neuro, spine, tumor workups, cord compression, cardiac imaging, breast, enterography, abdominal, whole body, ortho, and spectroscopy cases

Schedule
Days 0700-1700. Standard hours per week: 40. Orientation: 1 shift of unit orientation required.
