MRI Technologist – Travel Job
About the role
Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Tech to join their team. The ideal candidate will accurately interpret physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.
Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret physician’s scanning instructions
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures
- Expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images
- Work with a variety of patient types including those with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, and whole body imaging
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient care and safety
Requirements
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
- 2 years' experience as an MRI Tech
- BLS certification
- ARRT-MR or ARMRIT
- 3-5 years in MRI
- Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and ED patient types
- GE and Siemens experience required
- EPIC required
- GE Discovery 750W required
- Siemens Aera required
- Siemens Magnetom Skyra required
- Mckesson PACS required
- Covid vaccine required
Qualifications
Preference given to candidates with:
- GE Discovery 750W experience
- Siemens Aera experience
- Siemens Magnetom Skyra experience
- Mckesson PACS experience
Skills

Pay

Schedule
Shift Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Shift Days: Monday-Friday
40 hours per week
Weekend rotation: maximum every 3rd weekend
On-call: Saturday and Sunday nights 9:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Backup on-call: Saturday and Sunday 6:30 AM - 9:00 PM
30-minute response time for on-call responsibilities
Weekly rotating responsibility for first-shift backup on-call and weekend on-call
Weekend on-call occurs approximately once every 8 weeks and includes on-site Saturday hours, with a compensatory weekday off scheduled
