MRI Technologist - Sign-On Bonus

About the role

We are seeking an MRI Technologist II to perform routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures in a patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans, select appropriate technical parameters, and administer contrast agents following facility policies.
• Support invasive procedures under MRI guidance and maintain a safe work environment per MR Safety Program.
• Prepare patients, ensure proper positioning, and provide education to promote comfort and understanding.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, quality assurance, and departmental training activities.
• Manage supplies, document procedures, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members, verify orders, and ensure timely processing of images for interpretation.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or accredited MRI/Radiologic Technology certificate.
• Three to four years of MRI experience and ability to independently perform protocols.
• ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) certification required upon hire, or internal candidates with extensive experience may be considered.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross.
