About the role
Under the supervision of the MRI Manager and Lead Technologists, you will operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of various anatomical regions. This role involves direct patient contact, adherence to safety guidelines, and the physical ability to position and transport patients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and test MRI units for daily operations.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure optimal functionality.
- Screen patients for safety and obtain informed consent.
- Administer contrast agents following established protocols.
- Position patients accurately and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists on protocol implementation and image quality control.
- Assist in training staff and stay current with advancements in MRI technology.

Requirements
- ARRT or ARMRIT registration and MRI certification.
- Six months of recent MRI experience or equivalent training.
Skills
- Technical proficiency in operating MRI equipment.
- Strong patient interaction and communication skills.
- Awareness of safety protocols and procedures.
- Basic computer knowledge for image processing and documentation.
Pay
$40.10–$65.65 per hour.
