MRI Technologist - Sign On Bonus

About the role

Under the supervision of the MRI Manager and Lead Technologists, you will operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of various anatomical regions. This role involves direct patient contact, adherence to safety guidelines, and the physical ability to position and transport patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and test MRI units for daily operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure optimal functionality.
• Screen patients for safety and obtain informed consent.
• Administer contrast agents following established protocols.
• Position patients accurately and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists on protocol implementation and image quality control.
• Assist in training staff and stay current with advancements in MRI technology.
• Uphold organizational values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence through professionalism and ethical conduct.

Requirements

• ARRT or ARMRIT registration and MRI certification.
• Six months of recent MRI experience or equivalent training.

Skills

• Technical proficiency in operating MRI equipment.
• Strong patient interaction and communication skills.
• Awareness of safety protocols and procedures.
• Basic computer knowledge for image processing and documentation.

Pay

$40.10–$65.65 per hour.
