What We Are Looking For: MRI Technologist (PRN) Location: Onsite Villa Park Days/Hours: Saturdays, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm Overview Of Key Responsibilities: Maintains current knowledge of MR technology and assists in quality control of equipment Responsible for patient safety, including pre-screening for implants and researching any necessary clearanceSterilize and maintain equipment, maintains cleanliness or rooms and keeps adequate stock of supplies on hand Administration of aseptic injection technique for contrastAddress patient concerns during procedure, and explain MRI procedure using tact, courtesy and poise to reduce anxiety to obtain patient cooperation Carefully position patients in order to obtain correct imaging Document radiological services by accurately recording data in the patient's chartEnsures quality standards are met and promotes continuous quality improvementProvide education, training and direction to new technologists According to department standards and protocols set by radiologist, perform all job related functions as a MRI Technologist, including all imaging procedures in a timely and efficient manner, and communicate related information to appropriate physician Perform all other duties as assigned Frequent lifting/carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistanceMust be able to stand, stoop, lift and walk without restrictions Qualities You Should Possess: Quick, accurate decision makingAbility to perform effectively under stressful situationsExceptional attention to detail, highly organizedTechnical, skilled expertise Effective, composed communication to address patient's questionsInterpersonal skills, patient focused attitude with passion and sensitivity towards their care Education, Experience & Requirements: Graduate of an accredited MRI certification program ARRT/ARMRIT registered Previous experience in diagnostic radiology/imaging setting Proficiency running advanced MR studies independently CPR- BLS Certification Benefits & Total Rewards: Paid time off Paid on-site training401(k) with 4% company match, when eligible Competitive pay and growth opportunitiesQuarterly appreciation breakfast/Lunch Bright Light Medical Imaging is impacted by the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for recruiting from vendors such as Indeed, Glassdoor, Zip Recruiter and LinkedIn as a result of these vendor’s presentation of received resumes in their portal.
