MRI Technologist PRN

About the role

We are seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to join UCF Lake Nona Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare. This position involves performing MRI scans and related duties under the direction of a Radiologist.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI scans and related duties on the GE 1.5 magnet
• Establishes and maintains scan protocols and executes specific applications
• Maintains knowledge and practice of MRI safety techniques
• Establishes and maintains a good rapport with fellow employees, other departments, and the medical staff
• Is organized and able to perform several duties at once; flexible to accommodate add-on requests
• Required to work call shifts

Requirements

• (ARRT-R) Radiography Vocational School Graduate
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor, or (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• 1-3 years of experience preferred

• Knowledge and expertise in MRI procedures
• Ability to establish and maintain a professional relationship with colleagues and medical staff
• Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and accommodate additional requests

The salary for this position is commensurate with experience.
