MRI Technologist PRN

About the role

MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. Responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the MRI Supervisor with day-to-day operation of the department, balancing budgetary constraints, equipment and personnel needs, quality improvement and exceptional care for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technologist program (ARRT-MR)
• Current registration or registry eligible. Must be registered within 6 months (ARRT-R)
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• One-year experience preferred
