Parkridge East Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to perform imaging procedures ordered by physicians. This role is responsible for day-to-day activities that ensure delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the MRI Supervisor with day-to-day department operations, balancing budgetary constraints, equipment and personnel needs, quality improvement, and exceptional care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles over the lifespan, with the ability to assess patient data relative to age-specific needs
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program (ARRT-MR)
• Current ARRT-MR registration or registry eligible; must be registered within 6 months
• Current ARRT-R registration or registry eligible
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• One year of experience preferred
