MRI Technologist PRN

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Memorial Health Meadows Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services.

About the Role

Performs MRI examinations and special procedures under the guidance and direction of the Radiologist and MRI Supervisor. Operates equipment safely, maintains MRI safety standards, and adheres to all Regulatory Agencies and ACR standards. Establishes and maintains professional relationships with employees, other departments, and medical staff while providing consistent quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain required consents per hospital policy
• Ensure MRI Contrast Media Safety and Power Injector Safety
• Participate in the on-call schedule by keeping a cell phone number posted
• Document in Radiology RIS system upon completion of exams
• Call or fax preliminary "wet read" reports to appropriate locations using "Read Back and Verified" policy
• Check work areas at the beginning and end of shift for supplies and cleanliness
• Keep supervisor notified of supply levels and maintain par levels without overstocking

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical School Diploma or Certificate in Radiology Technology required
• Current National Licensure in ARRT required
• BCLS required
• MRI Registry within 6 months of hire required
