MRI Technologist - PRN

About the role

MRI Technologist in a PRN capacity within the Imaging Services department, focused on performing diagnostic imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a full-service, high-quality radiology department dedicated to patient care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures
• Conduct studies independently, including on-call, portable exams, and other site-specific tasks

Qualifications

• Associate or Trade School education
• No prior experience required; preferred experience is 2+ years
• Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
• Preferred additional certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Intravenous Therapy

• Ability to perform advanced imaging modalities

• Patient preparation skills
