MRI Technologist PRN
Job Summary
The MRI Technologist performs routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies. The MRI Tech presents images and patient information/history to the Radiologist so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to the referring physician.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
- American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) registered. ARRT MR preferred upon hire or must become registry eligible for ARRT MR within 1 year of hire and must complete registry within the 6 months following.
- BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
- 2-3 years MRI experience preferred.

Lee's Summit Medical Center is an 80+ bed full-service hospital. We serve Lee’s Summit and surrounding areas. What You Will Do in This Role
You will compassionately assist and position patients. You will start IVs for contrast injection when necessary. You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary. You will release patients with proper post procedure instructions. You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment. You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
