Pay Range: $38.50 - $49.50, based on experience.

About the Role

Provides high-quality test results with a minimum of supervision. Coordinates these services within and outside Thompson Health to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of our customers. Actively supports the mission, goals, and objectives of UR Medicine Thompson Health.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the ability to work independently and exhibits flexibility in decision-making and prioritizing assignments.
• Develops and maintains collaborative working relationships with fellow MRI and DI staff.
• Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information, including but not limited to patients, staff, and the health system.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.
• Actively supports hospital goals and imperatives and lives the CARES values at all times.
• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of MRI safety regulations for established MRI protocols.
• On-Call responsibilities required.

Requirements

• A.A.S. degree required.
• Current, valid AART certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging independently required.
• Basic CPR training required or to be completed within three months of hire.
• MRI Registry required within 1 year of hire.
• B.S. degree preferred.
