Operates radiologic equipment and performs MRI procedures by performing the following duties.
Experience Qualifications
- 1 year MRI experience.

What you will do
- Perform MRI procedures by preparing and positioning patient for diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Aids radiologist in examinations.
- Measures and administers contrast media.
- Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
- Adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician.
- Processes images and reviews for proper identification and quality control.
- Presents images for reading by radiologist or requesting physician.
- Performs routine maintenance, diagnoses malfunctions, and makes minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.
- Completes forms and maintains records, logs, and reports of work performed.
- Performs office work including, but not limited to, answering phone, filing, obtaining information from computer, typing cards to stamp films, and ordering departmental supplies.
